Decide Which Object in Salesforce to Log Calls To

We are a B2C business. So we use a feature in Salesforce called Person Accounts. This basically merges Accounts and Contacts in Salesforce, since we sell to individuals, not businesses.

The problem is, the Dialpad integration searches Leads, Accounts, and Contacts for all phone calls. Each time it matches to both the Account and Contact. Therefore, no phone call ever logs automatically. The user has to match it manual every single time.

If there is a way to simply select which Salesforce objects can be logged to, this problem could be resolved.

Anyone aware of another workaround?
